Festivalito Rural is an encuentro milonguero where we spend time with friendly people, share beautiful tandas, and enjoy a cozy weekend together.

It takes place in a former monastery in a tiny village of Veržej in the charming Slovenian countryside. It's totally carefree as the venue is all-in-one; we dance, sleep, eat and have fun at one and the same place.

Thursday, August 20

  • 15:00–18:00 — Open practica with Alja
  • 21:00–00:00 — Opening milonga, DJ Alja

Friday, August 21

  • 12:00–15:00 — Mingle & nibble (snacks and friends time)
  • 15:00–18:00 — Afternoon milonga, DJ Boštjan
  • 21:00–01:00 — Evening milonga, DJ Melina

Saturday, August 22

  • 12:30–14:00 — Drop-in class with Melina (book on-site)
  • 14:30–19:00 — Afternoon milonga, DJ Sam
  • 21:00–open end — Saturday Night Tango Vibes Party with DJ Tomaž (plus plenty of chatting & sipping at the bar)

Sunday, August 23

  • 12:00–13:30 — Drop-in class with Melina (book on-site)
  • 14:00–19:00 — Farewell milonga, DJ Tomaž
  • After dinner — chilling & chatting at the bar

Price

120 € per person includes:

  • 6 milongas
  • fruit, snacks, finger food, soup, desserts and water during milongas + Friday's Mingle & Nibble
  • little delights, lovely embraces & lots of good energy

(Drop-in classes are not included and can be booked on-site.)

We can host up to 100 (close embrace) dancers on our dance floor – leaders, followers, and double-role friends all welcome!

Accommodation:

  • Book your room at the milonga venue directly with our Veržej hosts. The number of rooms is limited, so we kindly ask you to share the room with *at least* one person. Remember that accommodation includes breakfast and dinner. You can book the meals at the venue even if you stay elsewhere; again, write to the hosts.
  • Veržej and the surrounding area offer several other accommodation options (Google is your friend). The Banovci spa resort is one that is unlikely to run out of rooms. You can book the meals at the venue even if you stay elsewhere.
